Guillaume Mainguet


was born in Nantes, France in 1977. He is both a film critic and a major champion of independent  filmmaking. In 2007, he began working with the Festival des 3  Continents. Since 2009, he has been the Head of Produire au Sud, a workshop that seeks to provide young filmmakers in Asia, Africa, Latin America and other regions a range of tools and techniques in the field of international feature film coproductions.


Orna Levy

Director and screenwriter. Orna Levy has directed  such films as To Take a Breath, The Sacrifice of Isaac (a documentary) and Halava (a feature film). Levy holds a Bachelor's  degree from New York University. During her stay in New York, she studied art, philosophy and animation (at the School of Visual Arts), as well as screenplay writing. She is a lecturer in cinema at Sapir College, the Minshar for Art school in Tel Aviv, the Ma'aleh School of Television, Film & the Arts in Jerusalem, the School of Visual  Theater in Jerusalem and the Jerusalem Cinematheque.


Nony Gefen

Director, screenplay writer and actor. Nony Gefen's first film, Not in Tel Aviv won first prize at the 11th Cinema South Film Festival in 2012 and was awarded the Special Jury Prize for Filmmakers of the Present at the Locarno (Switzerland) International Film Festival that same year. In addition, he played the  leading role in Ido Fluk's Never Too late. Gefen is currently working on his second film, Why Elephant?


Benny Cohen


was born in 1965 in Sderot, where he lives  today with his family. He has been active in community and cultural affairs for the past 25 years. Cohen has a Master's degree in Jewish Art from the Schechter Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem. He participated in the student film, Your Younger Daughter Rachel, which won the Best film award at the Cinema South Film Festival  in 2006 and competed in the Cannes Film Festival in 2007. He is currently Director of the Sderot Cinematheque.
